Mentorship refers to the influence, guidance, or direction provided by the mentor. A mentor is considered a person who teaches or gives assistance or advice to the less experienced and younger person. Based on personal experience, one of the mentorships encountered is through interaction with the Human Resource Director of the local Bright Horizons (Gisbert-Trejo et al., 2021). Working as a coordinator, The HR director has been of great help and a source of aspiration towards my current position in the organization.

The HR director has assisted me in playing the role of the coordinator through working on-site and reporting to the supervisors. He has informed me about adhering to the policies and practices based on organizational standards. He has assisted in the acquisition of skills and knowledge that has enabled me to interact with other organizations or facilities as the firm’s representative. This has led to the successful process of aiding and facilitating the human resource processes at all business locations (Gisbert-Trejo et al., 2021). It has also led to the successful administration of the responsibilities like acting as a liaison between the workers and the insurance providers.
