This is your first Trailhead online training assignment. The goal with these badges is to ensure you set up your Trailhead and Trailhead Playground accounts correctly. Please read the material contained in each badge very carefully. Before starting this assignment, please read Trailhead Assignment Guidelines.

Introduction
Salesforce is the most popular CRM technology provider. They offer free online training, called Trailhead, for its employees, its customers, and anyone who is interested in learning how to use the technology. You will have an opportunity to learn more about this state-of-the-art company and many of the products and services they offer.
Getting Started
Access the Trailhead Homepage (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/home) to sign up for the online training program.
Click on Sign In and you will see this screen:
The first badge you will work on is called Trailhead & Trailblazer Community. Here, you will follow the process for getting started. Now, here’s the great thing: every badge you complete successfully will be added to your profile. This is a great resume builder. Once you have set up a Trailhead online training account, you will be able to set up your personal profile with your own Trailhead URL.
Assignments
Note that each Trailhead badge is worth between 100-1200 points. These points have been converted to your course points in the provided table:

 
Required Formats

1. Once you have read and studied the content under each learning unit for a Trailhead badge, you will complete a short M/C quiz. The questions are not always easy so take your time and go back and re-read if you have to, before answering the question. You will get credit for the questions you got correct,not just for completing the quiz. You cannot retake the quiz!
2. When you have completed every badge corresponding to a Trailhead Assignment, you will prepare a Word document containing the information shown in the Sample of Trailhead Assignment Submission document.  This sample is for Assignment 1.  Re-use this template for all Assignments and always fill out the highlighted parts.
3. You must take a screenshot of the points earned for each badge. You can access the earned points on each badge through your profile on the upper right corner and click on badges.  Once the badges come up, hover over the badge, click on the arrow and you will see the points earned.
4. Add your screenshots to your document and save it.
5. Go to the Assignment link before the deadline and upload your Word or PDF document.

I will not accept individual files for each screenshot of a Trailhead badge. In order to receive credit, you must submit the assignment in one document, in the format above; otherwise, you will receive a “zero” on the assignment.
Note: Late assignments carry a 15% penalty when submitted within the first week of the due date. After a week, assignments are not accepted. Manage your time accordingly. 
Grade Calculations
Your grade for the submission is based on the points earned. Let’s look at the first assignment with Trailhead & Trailblazer Community and Trailhead Playground Management. According to the chart above, the two badges for Assignment 1 are worth 1,100 Trailhead points and worth 25 MAR4860 course points.

Possible Trailhead Points = 1,100 (400 + 700)
Total Trailhead Points I Earned = 400 and 500
Assignment Course Points = 10 + 11
11 is calculated as (500 badge points earned x 15 course points) / 700 badge points = 10.71 ~ 11
The assignment grade is “21” out of a possible 25 points and this is what will appear in your Canvas grades for this assignment.
