Students, in groups will work on one of the problems that affect
hospitality and tourism. The groups will develop an analysis about the
problem assigned to understand how companies or policy makers do to
solve it, or to cope with it. They will have to analyse at least 3 different
cases (either companies ore destination policy makers) and provide
details about their solutions. Analyse what they do, why they do it, and
how they do it. Once they have a clear idea of how companies or policy
makers try to provide a solution to the problem, they need as well to
compare the different solutions and evaluate them. Results about their
analysis must be provided in a written report. Students must support
the work by using at least 12 different reliable resources (at least 4 for
each case), either from academia or the industry. References must be
added in text in the presentation and in the reference list.
Further information about the content will be provided during class.
