Complete your learning team project plan:
Develop the Project Plan. This document communicates the schedule, budget, and resource requirements for the project. The needs of the project will determine which components of the project plan are required. For this assignment, the following elements are required:
- Scope baseline
- Schedule baseline
- Cost baseline
- Performance measurement baseline
Analyze the Project Plan you developed for any areas where changes can be made that will optimize the schedule for time and cost.
Identify which steps you will take to attempt to shorten your project finish date and decrease project costs, using schedule optimization strategies. Update your project plan accordingly.
Note. When you are satisfied that you have done your best to create the most efficient plan possible, save the baseline for the project plan so that you have a point in time to measure progress against and variances can be analyzed as the project progresses.
Refer to the rubric provided. Each of the sections of the plan will be evaluated for completeness and quality (i.e., realistic content) as it relates to your project.
Note. MS Project software is available to PC users at no additional cost through the University. You may choose to use this software to complete this assignment, but it is not a requirement. The optional text of Dynamic Scheduling® With Microsoft® Project 2013 is a good resource for using the MS Project software.
Consider how you might approach getting your organization to revise their Project Management Plan format to ensure it meets PMBOK minimum best practices.
Please export excel file after completion of project plan from Microsoft Project.

Project plan exemplifies communication of the schedule, budget and resource requirements for the project to an executive stakeholder audience. Plan provides excellent project detail at a level needed to determine accurate estimations. Project exemplifies optimization for time, budget and resources. Project plan clearly established a dynamic model with few constraints and a navigable critical path. The project plan includes the following components: • scope baseline, • schedule baseline, • cost baseline, • performance measurement baseline. |

Project plan thoroughly communicates the schedule, budget and resource requirements for the project. Plan provides project detail at a level needed to determine accurate estimations. Project provides evidence of optimization for time, budget and resources. Project plan reflects an attempt to establish a dynamic model with few constraints and a navigable critical path. The project plan includes the following components: • scope baseline, • schedule baseline, • cost baseline, • performance measurement baseline. |

Project plan partially communicates the schedule, budget and resource requirements for the project. Plan provides insufficient project detail to determine accurate estimations. Project does not provide evidence of optimization for time, budget and resources. Project plan reflects an attempt to establish a dynamic model with few constraints and a navigable critical path. The project plan is missing one of the following components: • scope baseline, • schedule baseline, • cost baseline, • performance measurement baseline. |

The section(s) provide a complete and comprehensive discussion of the information necessary for the section(s). All of the required information is included and the material is presented in an excellent, understandable, and organized manner. A working professional reading the plan would understand the process and procedures, goals and intent of each section. |
