2. Review your Strengths Report from your previous assignment.

 

3. Write a 2-page paper that identifies your top 5 strengths and how you can apply them to your current or future leadership.
   1. What are your strengths?
   2. What are your weaknesses/pitfalls?
   3. How would you address these weaknesses?
   4. How would you use your strengths in leadership?

(Please note that some students use the words “advantages” and “disadvantages” which is inappropriate. This is not a competition, so please use “strengths” and “weaknesses” instead.
 
Assignment Guidelines:

• Minimum 2 pages, double-spaced.
• Must be APA7.
• Make sure to use correct APA in-text citations for paraphrased ideas and quoted text.

 
Due date:

• Please upload your report in [Assignment 4 – Strengths-Based Leadership Paper] Dropbox on or before the due date in Moodle.
• Please note that late assignments will not be accepted and a grade of zero will be assigned.

 
 
Appendix 1: Setting Up Your References for your “Strengths Report”
 
Step 1:

• Go to “Toolbar” in “Word.”
• Click on [References].
• Click on [Manage Sources].
• Click on [New]
• For “Type of Source,” select “Document from Web site.”
• For “Author,” type “Gallop.com.”
• Enter the “Name of Webpage,” type “Strengths Insight Guide for [Your Name].”
• Enter the “Name of the Website,” type “Gallup.com.”
• Enter the “URL” of the website, https://strengths.gallup.com.
• Enter the Year, Month, and Date of your access.
• Close the Window.

 
Step 2:

• Go to the top “Toolbar” in “Word.”
• Click on “References.”
• Click on “Bibliography.”
• Click “Insert Bibliography.”
• You should get the following result

Appendix 2: Q & A
 

1. Question: Where can I find my weaknesses?

Answer: Great question. We are only looking at your strengths in Strength-Based Leadership. There are other instruments that one can use to identify weaknesses, but it is not the focus of this assignment.
