Assignment Overview
This week you will work on your career plan which is part of your e-portfolium. Write down the mission or purpose of your life and where you want to make a contribution with regards to your work. This assignment is submitted in class and the material should be used to update your career plan in Portfolium.
Instructions
Make a list of the top 3-5 values (what is most important to you). Plan which daily behaviors you would have to follow to align to your values and what you would have to do to not align to your most important values.
Develop a few goals for each of your top 3-5 values. For each value have a long term goal (3-5 years), medium term (2-3 years), and short term (less than one year). Make sure each goal is measurable so you know when you have achieved this. A measurable goal should contain a clear action that has to be taken within clear time frames. For example: Graduate from the Humboldt Leadership studies program by month/year.
Identify one possible career option which aligns to your most important goals and values. Identify an example of a training plan that you need to develop for your career plan. Update your career plan and post in your Portfolium account. Use references to the materials you used and use APA style for referencing.
