Marginal Change to help achieve my Professional Goals
The TED talk “How to achieve your most ambitious goals” by Duneier (2017) describes how his decision-making process approach defines home more than any occupational title. Moreover, he uses popular, successful individuals such as Novak Djokovic to illustrate how they progressively achieved success. During the talk, Duneier highlights those marginal adaptations can be included in daily routines to boost the overall decision-making process to perform lasting modifications. I can incorporate the marginalization aspects in my life to help me achieve my intended objectives. Therefore, the talk highlights the importance of breaking down significant goals into a collection of small decisions that are often implemented in a step-by-step process.

According to Duneier (2017), it is essential to make minor alterations to the pattern to proceed towards the intended outcome in small steps while at the same time eliminating distractions and reiterating the slight strides using effective decisions to align the intended goals with current mannerisms. However, he insists that the priority of the adjustment ought not to be on the outcome but on the process of attaining the development. This process is also similar to the strategy utilized when Microlearning. Therefore, incorporating a marginal improvement approach can be beneficial to students as it divides the ambitious goal into small step-by-step processes that align with the desired destination.
The marginal improvement approach can effectively help me achieve my intended goal of becoming a drug expert in the pharmaceutical industry. Becoming a drug expert requires pharmaceutical scientists to spend most of their time in a laboratory to identify how various blends correspond to disease-causing organisms and cells. Additionally, becoming a drug expert means that I will need to spend more time in the laboratory to help develop new drugs. Nevertheless, I can use this approach to identify and reduce activities that distract me from attaining my desired goal. Therefore, as an aspiring expert, I need to assess my routine to adjust small elements to help extensive open probabilities of achieving my desired destination.
